T's Blog Point Zero Zero Six

Some may say I struggle with a few things in life...

Time zones.
Travel Directions.
Personal Finances.
I think I have just discovered something else to add to the list...

I seem to be stuck with finding a hobby.

I'm lost!

I haven't had one in years!

And I'm really not sure on how to find one.

It's hard in your 30's!

Working out has always been part of my job - so that never counted. Plus - you sound like a knob when people ask what you like doing outside of work and you say - "working out". Even when people say it to me - I think "Dickhead"

Drinking and Catching up with Friends - Apparently not a hobby! However I like to think I am very good at that.

But in all honesty - what do you answer when somebody asks what you like doing in your spare time. What are your interests???

I feel like turning around and stating...

Well, you're asking a lady in her thirties what her hobbies are??? Where should I start.

I'm not married so I like having sex whenever possible (sorry Dad if you're reading this) As previously mentioned I also love to drink and catch up with friends - therefore any spare cash flow is taken up by this fantastic "past-time". Yes I work at Bunnings but I do not enjoy DIY. My unit is renovated and I paid people to do it. Team sports - I don't think so, I'm a very selfish person. Reading yes - if it's a decent book - but really - is that my hobby!!??!?

Oh dear!

Will I be saying that until I'm sixty!!??!

Taking up a new sport has crossed my mind, however -

Golf - stupid little shit balls.

Bike riding - do that to work each day - don't wanna do it on a weekend.

Water skiing - do it already... and still don't feel the need to do it EVERY weekend, plus - the past time of catching up and drinking with friends normally outways this :) :) :)

Punting - tried it and failed.

Knitting - kill me first.

Baking - would probably kill somebody else first.

Drawing or art - does Fantini sound like it's an artist's name??!!?!

Plus on top of all this, you have to compete with stupid little grommets that are already one third of your age and sixteen times better than you!

Therefore, I'm back at square one...

Hobbyless!

What's you hobby?
Can I have it???
